Instead Of The Predictable Hollywood Trump Bashing, Actor Chris Pratt Shared Something Unpredictable At The MTV Awards: The Gospel 6/20/18 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

The star of the upcoming JurassicWorld movie Chris Pratt shared something that might’ve never been spoken on MTV at the MTV Movie and TV Awards Sunday night, and that is the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Pratt is no theologian, and some parts were vulgar bathroom humor, but overlooking that, he told the audience of mostly millennials and those watching at home that they each have a soul and to be careful with it.

That God loves them; He is real and wants the best for them.

He also told them to learn to pray, to stay humble and that we’re all imperfect, that we all were designed by a powerful force.

He also said to not take the freedom we have for granted and to remember that our freedom we have was paid for by someone else’s blood.

What a nice change from the usual and predictable Trump bashing that usually occurs at these events now.

While Pratt is no Billy Graham, he obviously has a practicing faith and just the fact he would say those things publicly in Hollywood is more gospel and morality than we’ve heard in probably years from Hollywood.

Imagine the impact if more of Hollywood were believers and shared their faith on and off the screen. It could cause a dramatic culture change, and boy do we need a dramatic culture change.
