Will New CNN Owner AT&T Keep It Fake Or Go Straight With Real Reporting Again? 6/14/18 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

CNN has a new owner after the AT&T Time Warner deal got the seal of approval Tuesday from a federal judge. The question now is will AT&T keep CNN fake news or will they go straight by offering straight down the middle actual journalism?

For those of you that don’t know, CNN stands for the Cable News Network, and at one point in time, it actually did some reporting. Now it’s the home of Trump bashing and Stormy Daniels.

From a ratings standpoint, CNN is getting beat like LeBron by the Warriors in the NBA Finals. They are a distant third behind Fox News and MSNBCObama.

And it’s no surprise to anyone that has watched the cable channel in the past few years to understand why. It’s one-sided, politically correct, irrationally bias toward Trump, and they’re not even trying to pretend to hide their disdain for Trump and conservatives.

If AT&T wanted to be bold and really make CNN a competitor again in the ratings, they should go out and hire a conservative, put them on at 8pm primetime. If they did that, I guarantee the network’s ratings would be over a million per night.  Or, even better, hire Clay Travis to host a show with Brooke Baldwin because that would be must see TV every night.
