A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
Bad news for Stormy Daniels. Missouri has declared pornography a public health crisis.
According to The Daily Wire, Senate Concurring Resolution number 52 recognizes “pornography as leading to individual and societal harms and recognize the need for education, prevention, research, and policy change at the community and societal level."
The bill also blames the internet for exposing children to sexual content.
If the Missouri House passes the bill, the state will become the 10th state to declare porn a public health crisis.
While I do agree it’s a health crisis, it’s also a moral crisis that is ruining marriages, men young and old, and careers.
Pornography is just as dangerous as drugs and alcohol, and much easier for the young and old to access.
The government regulates tobacco advertisements and they also don’t allow sexually explicit content on broadcast TV because kids may see it. If the Democrats and the federal government want to regulate something on the internet like they want to do with net neutrality, let them regulate porn websites out of existence.
