If you told me in 2018 that Roseanne would be the biggest show in America, I’d tell you that you must be CNN because you’re spreading fake news.

The Roseanne revival on ABC premiere episode received around 25 million viewers with the number including people watching on-demand. That’s an unbelievable number for a broadcast TV show in 2018. That just doesn’t happen a lot anymore.

Following the success of the sitcom that contains a pro-Trump protagonist, I want to offer ABC some advice on how they can build on the success they’ve had with Roseanne.

ABC, here is my advice. You need to go all-in on the MAGA programing. Seriously, if ABC went full speed ahead with programming that appealed to Middle America, conservative Trump country, they would own primetime television. It wouldn’t even be close!

What they should do is start by bringing back the T.G.I.F. block of programming that they aired in the 90s that included Family Matters, Full House, Step by Step, and Boy Meets World.

If they brought back a block of family shows that were clean and contained positive moral messages like the ones shown in the 90s, ABC would become the number one network in America because there is a longing for family entertainment because these isn’t much of it on TV anymore. Family viewing choices for their kids are limited as more basic cable shows are becoming more like HBO with adult language and sexual content.

Take my advice ABC. Do it! Make Primetime TV Great Again!
