A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
Happy Easter! I hope you had an enjoyable Easter weekend. I love Easter and the hope it brings. Easter is a day of victory, of good defeating evil, of light outshining darkness.
When I read the story of Easter, it reminds me as I read the daily headlines that we have hope because you know how the story ends if you know Christ. As the world becomes more chaotic, the return of Christ becomes closer.
Jesus died on the cross for everyone. His love and forgiveness is available to all. Gay or straight, white or black, Jew or Gentile, democrat or Republican, and yes, even trolls on Twitter. Christ died for all to be forgiven and saved.
Imagine how much better our daily lives would be if we lived everyday as though it was Easter, instead of letting the chaos of the world and politics bring us down. We all would be a lot happier if we kept our focus heaven and not on the things of the world.
The late Rev. Billy Graham once said that he has read the last page of the Bible and it’s all gonna turn out all right.
This week let’s all live like we truly believe that God is in control, as our world spins out of control.
