Holy Week Headlines: Stormy Daniels And Parkland Show Us The Need For A Savior 3/27/18 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

Watching the news this weekend, there was only two stories: Stormy Daniels, and the March for Our Lives march in D.C. Believe it or not, these two stories have a lot in common, and it’s not just because the liberal media are covering these 24/7.

I’ve tried to avoid discussing Stormy Daniels because it’s such a ridiculous story all around, and if what she alleges did happen, they’re both in the wrong. She’s wrong for sleeping with a married man, and Trump is wrong for cheating on his wife.

Saturday, CNN, the most trust name in Stormy Daniels porn news, and the rest of the media, took time out of their Stormy Daniels coverage to cover the March for Our Lives rally.

And it hit me Monday morning that these two stories are related. Yes, two separate stories, and two separate topics, but the cause for why these stories exist is the same: and that is sin.

This is Holy Week, which makes it even more ironic I’m talking about a porn star, but these two stories are the result of sin. Stormy and Trump, if they did it, they’re guilty of sin and the shooter at Parkland that took the lives of the students also broke a serious commandment: thou shalt not kill.

We live in a fallen, sinful, violent, hateful, Godless world, and the problems are increasing as man decides to move further away from religious principles.

With these and other tragic stories in the news, Holy Week is a reminder that we all are in need of a Savior that can save us from this evil world.
