A survey from Discover Financial Services and Match Media Group, the owner of Tinder and other dating sites, shows that financial responsibility is a real crowd pleaser with 69% of the 2,000 people polled saying that it’s an extremely important quality for a potential mate to have, placing it ahead of someone having a sense of humor, with 67%, attractiveness with 51%, ambition 50%, courage 42%, and modesty comes in at 39% of people. Bloomberg that reported on the survey stated that a good credit score is associated with being responsible, trustworthy and smart.
For some of you, this is really great news, because well, let’s just say some of you guys haven’t been to the gym in a year or decade or so and walking to the buffet does not count as exercise. But hey, I understand that not everyone can have a good credit score, have a sense of humor, be highly attractive, ambitious, have courage and be modest. I guess what I’m trying to say is that not everyone can be Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
