Regulation Overload: Alabama Town Requiring Teens to Purchase Business License Just to Cut Grass 6/12/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

In the latest example of governmental overreach and absurdness comes from Gardendale Alabama. ABC 33/40 reports that the city of Gardendale near Birmingham is charging teenagers $110 for a business license just to cut grass for a summer job. So if a kid charges $20 bucks or a little more to cut an elderly woman’s yard, it’ll take him 5-6 times of cutting it just to cover the business license expense. Personally, I believe this is a good lesson for the young kids. It’s important early on in life to learn about the over regulation and over taxing our government puts us all through. Maybe because of this the kids of Gardendale will grow up to not vote democrat so that we can stop some of these silly regulations. Trump is already getting rid of some of this stuff.
