Possible Buyers If CNN Goes Up for Sale Should Include Team Trump! 6/30/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

AT&T is in the middle of trying to buy CNN parent TimeWarner and there are rumors that AT&T may spin off or sale off CNN in an effort to win approval for the merger. Plus, AT&T is not a fan of all the recent bad P.R. CNN has gotten and there are even rumors they may find a replacement for CNN boss Jeff Zucker since he’s allowed CNN to go 24/7 Trump crazy. So if AT&T does sale CNN, who will buy it? Well, using my PhD in mass communication knowledge, which really I would know this stuff regardless of a PhD, here are my predictions for possible buyers:

Technology companies have more money than they know what to do with and are always looking for new businesses to buy that can sync with their technology and increase their media footprint and increase ad revenue. So, Google, Amazon, or even Facebook might consider buying the channel. Of the big media companies, only Disney/ABC and CBS do not have a cable news channel, so Disney could be a possible buyer or CBS that has a live streaming news channel could merge that with CNN and have a live on air and online channel. Sinclair Broadcasting, which is conservative probably doesn’t have the money since they recently purchased the Tribune Company. Another possible buyer is a liberal billionaire or they could just merge CNN officially with the democrat party since it’s already its PR department.

What I would like to see, just to troll the media, and have a Whittle bit of fun is to see the Trump organization put in a bid for CNN! The reaction within the media and the left would be priceless!
