A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

The UK Daily Mail reports that Netflix has surpassed cable in the number of subscribers with the streaming service now having over 50 million to cable’s 48 million U.S. subscribers. This is a big deal because cable TV has been at the top of the media mountain for decades, but really it’s not that surprising to me because everything is heading to the internet. Radio, TV, writing, journalism, the web is gonna take it all over. We live in a digital world now, analog is dead. Streaming services like Netflix offers customers a great deal of content for a good price. My only shock is that it took Netflix this long to overtake cable. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
