Conservatives and Christians Should Criticize Hollywood Less and Reach Out More to Them 6/16/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

Katy Perry’s parents that are both Christian evangelists spoke to CBN about their daughter and encouraged the viewers to pray for their daughter, that she will come back to God because as you know Perry’s music is not K-Love approved. Definably not Christian music. I’m glad they did this interview because for a while I’ve thought about Hollywood and how we as conservatives, as religious people, we always tend to criticize Hollywood for their movies and music and rightly so, but I believe we should maybe not criticize so much, but reach out more to them. Show compassion. The actors and singers of Hollywood are real people. With real problems. Perry recently discussed having suicidal thoughts in the past. Maybe if we reached out more, however we can, via Twitter, whatever, and share God’s love and grace with them, maybe it would cause some of them to be more open minded and make them consider changing their ways. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
