Cavs/Warriors Rematches Are Making the NBA Finals Boring 6/1/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

The following is a rush transcript and may contain errors:

I’m not the least bit excited about the NBA Finals because we’ve already seen this Finals already, a couple of times. It’s the same story lines that we’ve had: can the Warriors upset the Cavs? Which is yes, they can, we’ve already seen it. Can LeBron grow his legacy, and win with all the pressure? Yes, he can. He already has. Where’s the drama? Where’s the excitement? Where’s the unpredictable? You basically have the All-Star Teams of the East and the West playing in the Finals. Both teams are unbeatable in their conferences. After a while, just having the same two teams play year after year is gonna make people lose interest in the game. At least with Jordan and the Bulls in the 90s, they faced different teams, so you had a little bit of drama there. Past couple of years, it’s just been James against Golden State. That being said, the NBA Finals is still more fun to watch than a Kathy Griffin stand up special. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
