A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

We all knew it would happen, we just didn’t know when it would. Showbiz 411 reports that streaming music has finally surpassed CD and download sales to have fifty one percent of all music sales. Spotify, Apple, Pandora, you know the names. These are the new jukeboxes, the new radio stations for the digital age and they’re only gonna grow in their power and influence. No doubt streaming is easier than carrying around CDs, but to me streaming a song just feels different. It feels less real than having that physical copy of the album and the cover art. There’s just something about having that physical copy. It’s a different experience and it’s one many people will soon never have as all media goes online totally. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
