New Study Shows Which TV Channels Viewers Would Pick a La Carte 3/21/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

A new study from Tivo owned DigitalSmiths reports that if cable TV subscribers could buy channels a la carte, ABC, CBS and Discovery Channel would be the top picks. What’s interesting about this study to me is that ESPN came in nineteenth. For years we’ve heard that ESPN is keeping the cable bundle alive and that may not be true, as the Mothership didn’t even come in the top ten. I’ll tell you one reason ESPN isn’t as popular as it should be or could be and that’s politics. People don’t wanna watch MSNBC disguised as a sports channel.  I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
