Tom Brady Doesn't Need the Media's Permission to be Friends with Trump 2/2/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

I’m a Falcons fan and I’m hoping Matt Ryan and Julio Jones run all over Tom Brady and The Patriots, but the media has put me in the awkward position of having to defend the New England QB from the ridiculousness of the media. A few months ago someone saw that Brady had a Trump Make America Great Again cap in his locker, which may as well be a sin for the world’s best QB to have a Trump hat, because he’s in the public eye and the best QB in football, he couldn’t possibly be a Trump guy. Well, he’s friends with POTUS and the media is upset about it. They demand he explain himself. It’s all absurd. Brady can be friends with whoever he wants. He doesn’t have to explain himself to anyone, especially the media. It’s none of their business. He’s an American. He can support and be friends with Trump. He doesn’t need the media’s permission, and Go Falcons. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
