The Trump Resistance's Persistence is Not Paying Off and Here's Why 12/1/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

It’s Christmas season and by now the left assumed that Mike Pence or maybe even Hillary somehow would be President and Trump would be impeached or at Alcatraz or something.

Every day the media has given it their best shot at getting him kicked out of office.

The left has organized protests after protests, trend after trend on social media, outrage after outrage at Trump, and still he’s in office and isn’t gonna go anywhere soon.

In fact, the dark days they said would come haven’t happened. The stock market is at a record high. Jobs are coming back. Tax cuts may be soon. Doomsday has been delayed.

It’s very simple why Trump is still in office.

Number one, Trump’s supporters love him and they know that even though Trump may be rough around the edges, with the Tweets and his past, they know the left is blowing a majority of things out of proportion and that it’s all political. That’s why that old Access Hollywood tape they dropped at the last minute didn’t work. They knew the game the media was playing. They’ve had that for years and then release it in October, people knew what that was really all about. And they don’t like the agenda that left has been and is pushing for America, and Trump was the only way to stop it.

Number two, even those that are not sold on Trump, they are seeing an improving economy, low unemployment, a high stock market and when they look on the left what do they see they’ve got to offer? More high taxes and people screaming at the sky over Trump and crying? You really believe protesting in silly pink hats and yelling is gonna really bring people over to your side?

Trump is happy and optimistic. And people, even those that are not Trumpers know that the left is playing a game and there wasn’t any collusion and Trump is not all the things they say he is.

The resistance’s persistence is not paying off.
