Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

A Rassmussen reports poll of 1,000 U.S. adults found that 62% of Americans believe Hollywood has a negative impact on society.

With the ongoing Harvey Weinstein scandal still in the news, it’s no wonder that people feel this way, but that’s not the only reason. Just look at the values of Hollywood overall. La la land is out of touch with the rest of America on a lot of issues.

If a majority of America feels that Hollywood is out of touch and they don’t share their values, then why are you still supporting their movies? If you want Hollywood to change and make movies that are more family friendly and shares your values, you are gonna have to do it by not buying tickets, not renting the DVDs, let them see you don’t want to support the values they’re selling.

The NFL ratings are down 7.5% this season because people are upset over the national anthem protests, and the down ratings have gotten the NFL’s attention. Same thing can happen with Hollywood. Stop supporting the movies that don’t share your values. People can sit around and take a poll or complain about Hollywood all day, but until you actually take action by not buying their content, nothing is gonna change.
