Closing the Books on the Obama Years 1/19/17 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

In just a few hours the Obama administration will be history and Trump will be the new commander in chief. It has been a very troubling, trying 8 years. There is not enough time in this commentary to cover all of the concerning events that occurred the past 8 years, but on Election Night 2008 when he said that “change has come to America,” I had a bad feeling because I knew what the meant, which was what we have lived through the past 8 years. I thought 2012 would’ve been it, but Romney blew it, but luckily Trump did not. I’m ready to move on to a brighter American future. As Michelle Obama said, “hope is making a comeback.” But unlike the false hope of Obama, Trump will bring real hope to both employed and unemployed Americans. Finally, we are closing the book on the Obama years. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
