A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
Here’s a plot twist no one saw coming. A new paper in the Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin is reporting the Millennials identify as conservative more than baby boomers or Gen Xers. High school seniors are more likely to identify as conservative than ten years ago. One reason they believe that Millennials may be more conservative is that a large majority of the age group support LGBT rights, gender equality rights and are instead just focusing on economic issues among other topics. What’s not surprising is that the study said we’re more politically polarized than before. Those that identify as independent continues to grow as reported by the study. The research gathered data on 10 million Americans. Reported by CNN. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
