Spotify Partners with Dating App to Help Users Find Their Musical Soul Mate 9/22/16 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

Finally a dating website is allowing users to post what is really important about potential dates, and that is what their musical tastes are via Spotify. TheVerge reports that Tinder, yes, of all the dating apps, it’s Tinder, has partnered with Spotify to allow users to sync their account with the dating app so that people can see recent tunes that you’ve streamed on the Spotify app and it’ll even allow you to pin your favorite track on your profile. And if there is a song or two that you don’t want people to know your listening to say something really embarrassing like that old Creed album or Taylor Swift guys, then you can hide that. This is a great idea because a possible date’s musical tastes is one of the most important things to know. No one wants to go on a date and find outthat someone is a huge Nickelback fan, because that’s def. a left swipe. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
