Other Governors Should Follow South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley's Lead on This School Issue 6/20/2016

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley has signed a bill that will implement the studying of the founding documents in South Carolina public high schools. The South Carolina Founding Principles Act according to TheDailySignal.com will require the study of the United States Constitution, the Federalist Papers, and “the structure of the government and the role of separation of powers and the freedoms guaranteed by the Bill of Rights” to be taught. This is something that should already be required for school kids, but at least Gov. Haley is making sure that these important documents will be taught and the other 49 states should follow her lead on this issue. It’s so important kids and adults alike learn the history and importance of these documents. Kudos to Governor Haley. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
