Baseball Opening Day: One of the Few Positive Pop Culture Moments 4/6/16 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

I love opening day of baseball. When you watch opening day, opening week of baseball it brings you, at least me, feelings of Americana. The flag waving, the jets flying over the stadium, the national anthem being played. Opening day of baseball is one of the few places in pop culture left that is pro-America and isn’t full of politics. While I watched the Atlanta Braves on Monday, it made me proud to be an American and for a few hours, I got to forget all the problems. The election, Cruz, Trump, yes, America’s great pastime, America’s distraction from the election. Crack jacks, flags waving, hot dogs, pure Americana and I loved it. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
