The Bad Idea That is a Contested Republican Convention - A Whittle Bit of Commentary 3/10/16

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

Let’s discuss the bad idea that is a contested Republican convention. If Trump doesn’t have the delegates and we have a showdown between Trump and Cruz or Romney even, I don’t see how this helps the GOP win in the end. I see it making half of the voters angry either way. I see the Trump people not voting and maybe even Trump going third party. If they don’t give the nomination to Cruz, then the Cruz people will stay home and not vote Trump. I don’t see how a contested convention is anything but a lost for the GOP. The only way to win is to unite behind the nominee, even if you don’t agree with him 100%. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
