As if we needed another sign that American culture is becoming less religious, QZ.com is reporting that hotels are replacing Bibles with modern needs such as WiFi access. A survey conducted by American Hotel and Lodging Association found that 46% of hotels include religious materials which is half of what it was a decade ago. They’re trying to appeal to modern travelers because of increased competition from Airbnb, but why not offer both? A Bible and WiFi? One hotel that is still offering Bibles is Trump’s new D.C. hotel, so there is another reason of why I’m glad he won. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
