A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
Finally, a Hollywood celebrity that I agree with! Actor Mark Wahlberg in an interview said that Hollywood celebrates should stop talking politics and just make movies and music. He said “A lot of Hollywood is living in a bubble. They’re pretty out of touch with the common person, the everyday guy out there providing for their family.” He said people may buy a band’s CD or watch someone’s movie, but they’re not listening and don’t care what the celebrities are saying about politics, which he’s right and if people did care what they thought Hillary would’ve won the election. I’ve always had this attitude. I’m a big music lover and I know that almost all musicians are big liberals, so I just ignore their politics, or just don’t read interviews when they discuss politics because I don’t wanna know. I can respect the art and look past the politics. Well, unless it’s someone that’s just so political it’s absurd like Lena Dunham or Miley Cyrus or Sean Penn. I mean some people I just cannot handle their extreme politics. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
