A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
Looks like history is repeating itself as the left continues to cry over Trump’s victory. We’ve seen this before. Let’s go all the way back to 2000 and the hanging Chad election that lasted into December, remember, we had to wait until December to find out if Bush or Al Gore had won the election. In 2000 Bush won the Electoral College and Al Gore won the popular vote. Because of the decision that awarded Bush, that did win fairly, the election, the left used this as an excuse to say that the Bush presidency was illegitimate, that he cheated, and that it was unfair. Let’s fast forward to 2016. Same thing. We have a Republican win the election, and win the Electoral College and what’s happening? Same thing! They’re saying he cheated, it’s unfair, hey hey, ho, ho, the Electoral College has gotta go! Trump and Bush both won fairly, they didn’t cheat. The left pretends that the Electoral College is something new. This has been the rules for I don’t know how long. So, just like with Bush, they’re gonna say that Trump is illegitimate, and they will fuss for 4 to 8 years about him, just like Bush, because you see, anytime a Republican wins, it’s phony, it’s fake. So it doesn’t matter if they won every state and the popular vote, they’d still say it’s wrong. The only thing Trump did wrong is run as a Republican. That’s his big sin. If he ran a Democrat, the left would be cool with the Electoral College. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
