Touchdown: Coach Mark Richt Purchases Bibles for the Entire Miami Football Team 10/5/16 - A Whittle Bit of Commentary

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):

I’m a big Georgia Bulldogs fan, but I am also a Mark Richt fan. And when I say I’m a Mark Richt fan, I’m talking more about the man than the coach, although he’s a good coach too, even though he’s no longer at UGA. The Sun Sentinel reports that coach Richt heard some of his players at the University of Miami did not have their own Bibles or that they had a copy but was old, so he purchased Bibles for the entire team, and not only that, he personalized each one. Taking the Bible was optional, so if someone didn’t want a copy, they didn’t have to take it. Mark Richt is a winner on and off the field, and the work he’s doing off the field is much more important than anything he could accomplish on the field. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
