A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Below is a rush transcript (may contain errors):
We are a couple of weeks from Election Day, finally. One thing that I haven’t heard either candidate discuss in great detail is what policies would benefit Millennials. Sure they’ve discusses student loans, but there are other issues that I believe are important that should be covered by the candidates. The following are questions I would ask the candidates if this Millennial had a chance to ask them. Number one: how would your tax plan and your plans for economic growth help Millennials find good paying jobs once we are out of college since we are burden by student debt? Two, what would you enact that would make college more affordable and would help us with the student loan debt we have? Three, many conservative and Christian Millennials feel our freedom of speech and religious liberty is under attack on campus and in the classroom. What policies would you consider that would allow conservatives to freely give their opinion without having to worry about punishment both inside and outside the classroom for simply having an opposing viewpoint? Fourth, we are concerned about our online privacy. What would your administration do to help make our privacy safer online? Fifth, healthcare costs continue to rise. Please explain how your plan would make healthcare better and cheaper. I’m sure there are other questions, but those are some that pop in my mind. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
