Poll Reports Millennials View Religion Less Positive for Society - A Whittle Bit of Commentary 1/7/16

The following is rush transcript (may contain errors)

It should come as no surprise that a Pew poll reports that Millenninals view religious organizations less positive than other generations. Only 55% view religion as a positive for our society in this study, which is an 18% drop from 2010. They have more trust in colleges, tech companies and the entertainment industry than other generations. My generation is already the least religious generation in American history, which is why I’m not surprised by this. You combine the pop culture Millenninals grew up with plus the fact many religious organizations don’t really stand for anything anymore and it’s no wonder my generation doesn’t trust the televangelist on TVbegging for $20 for his new jet. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
