A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):
A new study on social media users from Great Britain (via The Daily Mail) found that over half of the respondents felt they’re not reaching their full potential, others they feel like a failure, worry about their looks and wish they could be like the person they claim to be online than who they who they are in real life. This poll included various age groups, not just the young. Social media for a lot of people is just one big jealously, keeping up with the Jones comparison. It’s ridiculous, it’s sad that people are wasting their life instead of living it, feeling sorry for themselves and wishing they were someone else instead of who they are. You only got one life, stop tweeting it, and start living it! By the way, if you’re lying about who you are on social media, how do you know the person you envy isn’t just making it all up too? I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
