America's Addiction to Smartphones Growing Faster Than You Can Like This Commentary on Social Media - A Whittle Bit of Commentary 7/17/15

Transcript (may appear different than audio):

I’ve covered this before on this program and I am continued to be proven correct, although we all probably all know that people are addicted to their smartphones. Bank of America released a report and found that 71% of those polled admitted they sleep with their phones next to them, the usage of the devices among those that use them the most per day increased in a year to 59%. Half of their own customers would rather use their app than a physical location. Personally, I don’t believe it’s healthy emotionally, and mentally to be on a phone that much, or safe financially, because of identity theft, but the world is addicted to tech, and all of this reliance on tech is gonna cause a lot of problems that I don’t think people even realize yet or some that even exists yet.
