Apple Music Will Not Be the End of Spotify or Pandora, But It Has One Thing Going for It -A Whittle Bit of Commentary 7/2/15

Transcript (May appear different than audio):

Apple Music will not be the end of Spotify or Pandora, it could very well put some smaller streaming service out of business. I downloaded the ios 8 update to check out Apple Music (for at least the 3 month free trial) and within a few seconds I knew that the service is worth the $9.99 monthly price just for the ability to be able to have all of your music from your iTunes library and those songs you don’t own all in one place. The convenience of having all of your content in one app is a much better selling point than the Beats 1 radio station. If you purchase a subscription to the service, I doubt you’ll ever buy a song again from the iTunes store and even if you don’t have a subscription, it’s worth having just so you don’t have to buy songs ever again when you have all of them for ten bucks a month. That being said, I have a student discount through Rdio and $5 per month beats $10 per month so sorry Apply Music. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary. © 2015 Chad Whittle
