People's Daily Addiction of Tech & Media Continues to Rise to Almost Idol Level - A Whittle Bit of Commentary 6/3/15

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):

Step 1 is admitting that you have a problem and we all have a media addiction problem. ZenithOptimedia reports that on average people spend 490 minutes per day on some type of media: TV, internet, radio, newspapers, magazines, and movies. The time spent with media is set to rise to 506 minutes per day. With all of that time spent in front of a screen I wonder what people are missing out on in life and if technology is becoming an idol for a lot of people. We all love media, heck, I hope you listen daily to my commentaries, but I feel that we all could use tech a little less, and live life a little more. This may shock Millennials, but there is more to life than taking selfies for Instagram. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
