New Report Says Video Streaming Contributing to Global Warming - A Whittle Bit of Commentary 5/18/15

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):

The next time you binge House of Cards or DareDevil you should feel guilty that you’re destroying the planet one episode at the time. In the latest Greenpeace Clicking Clean report, as reported by Wired.com, the report discusses how all those Netflix shows, YouTube videos are all helping to contribute to global warming. Data center emissions are increasing by 13% each year, so the more online video streaming, the more emissions and thus the warmer the planet is getting. I am so concerned that we’re destroying the planet by streaming Netflix, that I plan to watch an entire season of multiple shows this afternoon, and then some cat videos on YouTube. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
