Paid for Patriotism? NFL Teams Received Money for Pregame Ceremonies That Honored Troops -A Whittle Bit of Commentary 5/13/15

A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):

On top of Deflategate, now the NFL has another scandal out there that involves our military and those feel good patriotic pregame shows we all love. AJC.com reports 14 NFL teams received money from the National Guard to honor local troops. The Falcons received the most money, over $1 million. It is disgraceful that tax payer money would be used to honor our troops when they should be honored for free. The NFL teams should give the money back to the National Guard and take the time to honor them at games for free. They’ve earned it. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
