While reading an article about the increase in advertising and videos from brands such as Comedy Central and FunnyOrDie.com on Snapchat, it hit me that Conservatives once again are behind and losing another pop culture battle. Why do we always have to pay catch up? Top liberal brands are using Snapchat to help gain more video views and reach the coveted Millennial generation by using the app that has the youngest audience of all social sites according to Bloomberg. Conservative media brands need to have a presence on this growing app if we want to reach a young audience, and not just let brands such as Comedy Central and FunnyOrDie.com that specialize in mocking conservatives and Christians have all the Snaps.
