A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle

Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):

I’m sure by now you’ve heard the story of James Robertson. The Detroit man that takes a 21 mile round trip walk to work daily. When I heard this story and how the 19 year old teenager started a GoFundMe fundraiser to help him purchase a car so he wouldn’t have to walk to work anymore, I thought that this story is so great. It shows what the true American spirit is and how big of a heart Americans have. Here is a guy that is willing to walk 21 miles to work, not take government handouts, but work hard and then because Americans have such big hearts, because we are a good people, a teenager started a fund that has raised almost $300,000 for Robertson. This story just made me smile, it’s what America is all about. Working hard and helping our fellow man. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
