A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):
This weekend we all watched the Super Bowl, and as always, the game was fun and entertaining. Sunday morning while at worship, I had my mind on the game, I’ll admit it, and it made me realize just how unimportant in the grand scheme of things sports are. Yes, watching and cheering on your favorite team is fun, but if you put it in a spiritual context, about life and how short it is, you’d see that it isn’t that important. If even if you win, you just become a footnote in history, and most people will forget that you won the game. Can you remember who won the Super Bowl ten or twenty years ago? Me neither. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
