A Whittle Bit of Commentary with Chad Whittle
Transcript (may appear different than audio recording):
Got an alert on my iPhone from the Bleacher Report app that Tiger Woods had the worst round of his career, shooting an 82 at the Phoenix Open, good enough for last place in the tournament and then I read he dropped out of the top fifty in the world golf rankings. The moment I read the iPhone alert, I knew that the Tiger Woods that dominated the PGA is now long gone. It’s over. He isn’t coming back. Sure, he’ll still play golf and may even win a tournament or two, but he’ll never be the best golfer in the world again. His career really ended that Thanksgiving weekend when he had the wreck and the incident with his wife. He’s never been able to recover mentally from that, and that has ruined his game. While it’s still possible for him to comeback, he probably won’t. Tiger Woods, is no longer a roaring Tiger, but he’ll still always be able to beat me. That’s for sure. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
