The Daily Caller reports that “The new law will effectively extend noise ordinances from residential zones in the District of Columbia to commercial zones and business owners say it could force them to shut down.” One bill would require any business that owns a liquor license to measure noise levels daily with a decibel meter. Business owners say it could shut many of them down. Some business owners are complaining that they are being punished because of a few bad actors. So once again government regulation is hurting business in America and literally stopping the music. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
