Chick Fil a's Truett Cathy Was a Leader We All Should Strive to Be Like A Whittle Bit of Commentary 9/9/14

9/9/14

The founder of Chick fil a Truett Cathy passed away on Monday who in my opinion was probably one of the greatest businessmen of our time. I’ll admit that I may be a little bias since Chick fil a is headquartered here in Georgia, but if you look at the success of his company, it would be hard to argue that what he built isn’t impressive. His story is the American dream. He started with nothing, except a recipe for chicken sandwiches and he built it into a multibillion business. Along the way even with increased revenue and opportunities to gain even more profit by opening on Sundays, he kept true to his faith and values and never opened on Sundays. While his company will continue to be successful, his true legacy is that he operated his company from a Christian viewpoint and he always stayed true to his faith. He showed all of us that it is possible to stay true to your faith and values and in the end, you’ll win. God bless, Mr. Cathy. I’m Chad Whittle on A Whittle Bit of Commentary.
