Nielsen has released interesting new data on what subscribers on Netflix are watching and it appears the 50 plus crowd are watching Netflix originals more than younger viewers.

According to Business Insider, those 50 plus spend a greater share of their time on Netflix watching originals than younger viewers with the older crowd spending 33% of their minutes watching originals compared to 27% for younger viewers.
While Netflix originals are very popular, old TV repeats of shows like “The Office” and “Friends” are the most popular titles on the streaming service.
People love nostalgia because times always seemed simpler in the past compared to today. Plus, shows of the past were not anywhere near as dirty as the Netflix originals available to stream today.
