Transcript: I don’t know about you but I gave up trying to keep count on how many Democrats are running for President. The names of new candidates from this point on doesn’t matter because none of have a chance at winning the nomination and they know it.
So why are they running?
Simple. It’s a marketing campaign.
Most of the candidates that are not delusional into believing they can actually win, are running to enhance their profile.
To gain national recognition.
To grab a gig on CNN or MSNBC and maybe even sign a book deal.
Having that you’re a former candidate for president is a nice line on your resume. They know it’s Joe Biden or Bernie Sanders nomination to lose. Everyone else is just running for a book deal.
